Odisha: 3-time ruling BJD MLA appears for Class X examination

Bhubaneswar: Purna Chandra Swain, a three time MLA of the ruling BJD on Friday appeared for the offline Class X examination at the Sarada Girls High School centre in Ganjam District.
Mr Swain represents the Surada Assembly Constituency in Ganjam District.
The offline examination was started on Friday in 504 examination centres across the state with all covid protocols for students who were not satisfied with the marks awarded to them under the alternative assessment method.

The alternative assessment method was developed after the annual High School certificate examination conducted by the Board of Secondary education cancelled by the authorities due to covid pandemic
Official sources said as many as 15,155 students are appearing for the examination which will continue till August 5 next.

The school authorities conducted thermal screening of the students, covid test of all teachers and staff deployed in the examination centres and sanitised the examination centres before the examination. (UNI)
