Only BJP can prevent West UP from turning into Kashmir: Yogi Adityanath

Lucknow: Taking up the exodus issue a day before the campaign end of the first phase of Assembly polls in Uttar Pradesh, firebrand BJP MP from Gorakhpur Yogi Adityanath today claimed that the only BJP can prevent western UP from turning into another Kashmir. "The 14 year regime of the SP and BSP has only done appeasement of the minorities in the region and this Akhilesh Yadav government has gone to the extent of creating a record of sort by even trying to withdraw cases against the terrorist," he alleged.
 

Mr Yogi told reporters here today before leaving for his campaign trail that only BJP government in UP can save the state from turning into another Kashmir where the Kashmiri pandits were now an outsider. Giving details about the exodus of Hindus from west UP, the BJP MP said there are at least over two dozen villages from where the exodus is most. "The criminals have been institutionalised by this SP government who is running a parallel government .

But if BJP comes to power in UP, then they will be either in the jail of out of the state," he further said. The BJP MP said that the issue of illegal slaughter house is an important matter of West UP and even after several direction by NGT , the Akhilesh Yadav government in order to appease the minorities refuse to hear the Tribunal. "BJP will scrap these illegal slaughter house from day one it comes to power," he added. Mr Yogi said Love Jihhad issue is still relevant in the west UP, as eve teasing is rampant and BJP government in UP will end the menace by setting up a 'anti-romeo squad'.

When asked about his views on the temple and the fate of Mathura and Kashi, the Mahant of Goraksh Peth of Gorakhpur admitted that ," Ram temple would be constructed in a grand way only by the Ram 'bhakts' and they would pave way for Mathura and Kashi." Giving reasons for BJP taking up the Triple Talaq issue, he said the party always supported the women empowerment in the country and as the Muslim population in UP is quite big, how the party cannot speak about their issues. Refusing to make any comment on UP minister Mohammad Azam Khan on his statement against him, Mr Yogi said,"He just makes controversial statement just to keep himself alive in media." (UNI)
