Prisoner dies of dengue, TDP fears of Chandrababu Naidu’s health

Vijayawada: Telugu Desam party national secretary Nara Lokesh expressed fears over the health of TDP national president and former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, who was lodged in the Rajahmundry central prison, following the death of a prisoner of dengue.
 
Nara Lokesh alleged a plot was hatched to eliminate Chandrababu Naidu in the prison itself.

Mr.Chandrababu Naidu was arrested on September 9 by the AP CID police in a Skill Development scam.
 
Nara lokesh on social media ‘X” tagged a clipping of death of prisoner Ganjeti Veera Venkata Satyanarayana with Dengue and said: “Former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, who is in 'Z Plus' category security, was lodged in the Rajahmundry central prison, where a prisoner died of Dengue yesterday. Naidu complained of Mosquito menace in the prison, he recalled.
 
“Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy should take responsibility if anything happens to Chandrababu Naidu in the prison,” Lokesh said.

Meanwhile, Prisons DIG Ravi Kiran clarified that the deceased prisoner Satyanarayana was lodged in the Central prison on September 6. He was admitted to the GGH in Rajahmundry on September 7 later he was shifted to the GGH in Kakinada but he died on September 20 while undergoing treatment. All steps were taken to eradicate the mosquito menace in the central prison, he claimed. (UNI)
