Soldier arrested with two live hand grenades at Srinagar airport

Srinagar: A soldier was today arrested at Srinagar International Airport after two live grenades were recovered from his possession, official sources said. During the frisking of soldier identified as B Masiha, security forces recovered two live hand grenades at main drop gate of the airport, they said.

Masiha, posted at Boniyar in Baramulla district, was taken into custody and further investigation was on, they said. He was to board a Delhi-bound flight. On February 21, a security man was arrested after live ammunition were recovered from his possession. (UNI)
