Speaking against RAGA proved costly, Barkha Singh expelled from Congress

New Delhi: The Delhi Congress today expelled Barkha Shukla Singh from the party for six years 'for undertaking anti-party activities just before the MCD elections', a statement from the party said here. The senior party leader and former chief of the Delhi Commission for Women, had yesterday quit the party posts.
 

'Disciplinary Committee of the DPCC, in its meeting dated April 21, 2017, has unanimously decided to expel Ms Singh for period of six years from the party, for undertaking anti-party activities just before the MCD elections. A resolution to this effect has been passed,' the statement added. (UNI)
