Hyderabad: A statue of actor Sonu Sood, known for his benevolent deeds during the Coronavirus pandemic was erected in Dubba Tanda (tribal village) in Siddipet district of Telangana on Monday.
The villagers performed pooja to Sood’s statue recalling his humanitarian works by helping the distressed and needy people during the pandemic.
They said they would offer prayers to Sood statue like god because he had helped many people during the never seen before crisis.
The tribal women of the village attired in the traditional dress sang and danced on the occasion. (UNI)
