Mathura: Two youths have been arrested for sexually assaulting a minor girl and later making her video viral on social media, an officer said here on Wednesday.
Circle Officer Sadar Pravin Mallick said a few days back four youths took the 13-year-old victim to a secluded place on pretext of getting wood and sexually assaulted her. "In a bid to blackmail the victim, they made a video of the incident," he said.
Mallik said that two days back the accused once again called the girl at the same place and when she refused they threatened to make the video viral.
"When the girl did not turn up, the accused made the video viral after which the victim's father lodged a complaint with the police," he said.
Two of the accused, Pramod and Rohit, have been arrested. (UNI)
