Vyapam scam: SC cancels admission of 630 students

New Delhi: The Supreme Court today cancelled the admission of more than 630 students, who enrolled in five year MBBS course in Madhya Pradesh during 2008 to 2012. A bench, headed by CJI Jagdish Singh Khehar, dismissed all the petitions filed by students in the case. "It is a big setback for the students," Pragati Neekhra, lawyer for Students said, soon after the apex court pronounced the Judgement in the case.
 

The apex court refused to set aside the Madhya Pradesh High Court's judgement in the case. The students were found in corrupt practices while giving examinations for the MBBS course for which the state HC had cancelled their admissions also, after which the students knocked the doors of the Apex Court for relief.
