WATCH: In a new look, Lalu drives open jeep in Patna, gives message of love and brotherhood

Patna: In a new look, visibly relaxed RJD chief Lalu Prasad today displayed a different shade of his life by driving an open jeep, giving message of taking together all sections of the society in a vehicle of love, happiness, passion and brotherhood.

Mr Prasad who appeared relaxed after Humpty-Dumpty of recent assembly by-elections in Tarapur and Kusheshwarsthan seats and recent medical check-up, drove an open jeep from his residence to Raj Bhawan and returned. It was a short distance covered by Lalu but a big event for his supporters and other onlookers who cheered him all along the joy- drive by raising slogans, " Lalu Yadav Zindabad ".

Lalu himself shared the video of joy-drive on his official twitter account and remarked everyone is driver in his life in some way or other way.

He recalled that he felt the pleasure of driving a four wheeler after a long time.

RJD chief wished the people for leading a decent life with love, passion and brotherhood in a vehicle of happiness taking together all for joint celebrations in life.

Mr Yadav has moved freely on road in Patna after four years on being released from jail in fodder scam. He has been recuperating at the residence of his daughter and Rajya Sabha member Misa Bharti in New Delhi.

Last month during his short visit to Bihar, Mr Prasad had campaigned for assembly by- elections, although results did not go in favour of RJD. He is suffering with multiple ailments including poor condition of his both kidneys. (UNI)
