You may find this heading baffling, but only if you are not Australian.

Because, believe it or not, this is what Australian media has been saying. In an outrageous news article, one Australian paper has compared Kohli with notorious American President, saying that Virat Kohli is Donald Trump of cricket!

Clearly, the heat is on and it refuse to cool down. The ongoing test series being played between India and Australia has seen many heated moments on and off the fields and Kohli has looked least concerned to chill things down. Contrary, while even Aussies have looked apologetic at times, Kohli has been trying to leave no stone unturned and keep the iron hot by keep striking it.

It was only obvious then that Australian media would look upon Kohli with such contempt. Therefore Sunil Gavaskar has called Aussie media an extention of their playing squad.

Ben Horne, writing in The Daily Telegraph, has written, "The Indian captain is a law unto himself with no one – not even the ICC or his own board – holding him accountable for his continual perpetuation of fake news. Kohli was also responsible for fanning the flames by attacking Smith on-field for daring to mock him and proceeding to celebrate David Warner’s wicket late on day four by ferociously parading past the Australian dressing room clasping his shoulder. Surprise, surprise though, the man who last week launched a scandalous attack on Smith and the Australians where he accused of them being systematic cheats, refused to apologise or provide any concrete evidence in his post-match press conference. This despite the relative diplomacy shown by his superiors at the BCCI. Just like President Trump, Kohli decided to blame the media as a means of trying to hide the egg smeared right across his face."

Wow, things are heated up and it only makes it more interesting. Fingers crossed for the decisive test match to be played in Dharmshala.
