Manchester:England pacer Jofra Archer has been cleared to rejoin the Test squad ahead of the third and final Test against West Indies at Old Trafford after his second coronavirus test came back negative.
Archer was axed from England's squad for the 2nd Test for breaching the Covid-19 protocols by going to his flat in Brighton after the first Test in Southampton last week.He was also fined an undisclosed amount and given an official written warning for the same mistake.

Following the incident, Archer spent his time in mandatory five-day isolation in his hotel room and underwent two COVID-19 tests which came up negative, giving him the clearance to rejoin the squad and put himself in contention for selection for the series decider.

With the series between England and West Indies tied at 1-1, Jofra's availability is likely to boost England's options to take the game to their opponents. The third and final Test of the series begins on July 24.(UNI)
