Melbourne: Cricket Australia (CA) on Friday announced batsman Travis Head tested positive for Covid-19 ahead of the fourth Ashes Test.
"Travis returned positive Covid-19 result earlier today. He is asymptomatic and we anticipate that he will be available to play in the fifth Ashes Test in Hobart," CA said in a statement.
Earlier, ICC match referee David Boon and England head coach Chris Silverwood were also moved into isolation after tested positive for the virus. (UNI)
