Birmingham: Tokyo Paralympics silver medallist Bhavina Patel sailed into the final of women singles classes 3-5 final on Friday and assured a medal for India.
Bhavina defeated English paddler Sue Bailey in straight games 3-0 (11-6, 11-6, 11-6) in the semifinal to guarantee herself at least a silver.
She will be up against Nigeris'a Ifechukwude Christiana Ikpeoyi in the summit clash on Saturday.
In another match, Sonalben Manubhai Patel, however, went down 1-3 (11-8, 6-11, 4-11, 7-11) to Nigeris'a Ikpeoyi in the semifinal. (UNI)
