Free entry passes for Vizag students to watch India Vs S Africa test match

Visakhaptnam: Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) President  P Sarath Chandra Reddy on Monday said that all Students in Vizag are given free entry into the stadium for watching the first test match between India Vs South Africa  at Dr YSR ACA VDC Stadium here from October 2 to 6.Any parent accompanying the student is charged on 100 per head, Reddy told reporters after the Organsing Committee meeting held here.
Vizag District Collector and Organising Committee Chairman ,  V Vinaychand, said that proper care is taken for the smooth conduct of the game. Since 90 per cent of the playing area is covered with waterproof covers, in case the game interrupted due to rain can be resumed in 30mts after rain stopped.
 
Flood lights will be used at the stadium if any bad light during the game, as per new guidelines of BCCI, he said the play will not be stopped due to bad light. It will be continued under flood lights.
 
Commissioner of Police RK Meena, explained on how security measures are taken and diversion of traffic at times required during match days.ACA Secretary Durga Prasad, said that proper care is being taken care for upkeep of the hygienic conditions in the galleries and water facility will be provided free of cost to the audience.(UNI)
