Guwahati: Rishabh Pant made his international ODI debut against West Indies in the first game of the five-match ODI series here on Sunday, while from the visitors side, two new faces took the field.
Pant was named in the 12-member Indian squad on Saturday and was expected to make the line-up today.
Though a wicket-keeper in the domestic level, he won't be seen behind the wickets in his ODI debut.
For West Indies, Chandrapaul Hemraj debuted as an opener in his first ODI.
The other debutant for the team is bowler Oshane Thomas. (UNI)
