IPL 2020: KKR beat CSK by 10 runs, register 3rd win of season

Abu Dhabi:Kolkata Knight Riders beat Chennai Super Kings by 10 runs to register third win of the IPL 2020 at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium, here on Wednesday.
After electing to bat first, Kolkata Knight Riders managed to post a respectable 167 on the board after 20 overs. Rahul Tripathi, who was promoted to open the innings along with Shubman Gill played a brilliant knock of 81 from 51 deliveries.
Dwayne Bravo, the birthday boy, got 3 wickets while Sam Curran, Shardul Thakur and Karn Sharma, picked up 2 each for CSK.
In reply, Watson's fifty ( 50 off 40) went in vain as Chennai Super Kings scored 157/5 in 20 overs and lost the match by by 10 runs.With this win, KKR moved up to the 3rd position in the points table. (UNI)
