New Delhi: Journalist and talk show host Boria Majumdar alleged that India wicketkeeper-batter Wriddhiman Saha "doctored and tampered" the screenshots of his WhatsApp messages.

Majumdar took to Twitter and posted an 8 minute 36 seconds-long video, explaining how Saha blurred a few part of the messages he had sent asking for an interview.

These claims unfolds the mystery that whom did Saha received the messages from.

The journalist also said that his lawyers are serving Saha a defamation notice. "There are always two sides to a story. @Wriddhipops has doctored, tampered screenshots of my WhatsApp chats which have damaged my reputation and credibility. I have requested the @BCCI for a fair hearing. My lawyers are serving @Wriddhipops a defamation notice. Let truth prevail," tweeted Majumdar on Saturday night.

Majumdar's video post came hours after Saha met the three-member committee formed by the BCCI to investigate the matter.

After the meeting, Saha told media persons that he has shared everything with committee members Rajiv Shukla (BCCI vice-president), Arun Dhumal (BCCI treasurer) and Prabhtej Bhatia (apex council member).

Earlier on February 19, Saha tweeted a screenshot of messages from a journalist after his exclusion from the India squad for the two-Test match series against Sri Lanka. (UNI)
