Auckland: Left-arm spinner Krunal Pandya (28/3) and skipper Rohit Sharma's half century helped tourists win by seven wickets in the second T20 against Kiwis to level the three-match series 1-1.
Earlier, New Zealand won the toss and opted to bat and managed to put up 158 runs after 20 overs at loss of 8 wickets. Indian skipper Rohit Sharma's 50 and youngster Rishabh Pant unbeaten 40 took India towards victory in 18.5 overs scoring 162 runs after losing three wickets thus levelling the series.
On Kiwi soil this is India's first T20 win and the decider match will be played in Hamilton on Sunday. (UNI)
