Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez retires from international cricket

Karachi: Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez has announced his retirement from international cricket, the ICC said on Monday.

The 41-year-old top order batsman, who made his international debut in 2003, announced his retirement from Test cricket in 2018.

He played his last international game against Australia in the T20 World Cup semi-final last November, as per International Cricket Council record.

Hafeez aka 'the professor' has played 55 Tests, 218 ODIs and 119 T20Is for his side and aggregated 12,780 runs across formats. (UNI)
