Colombo: The Indian cricket team led by Shikhar Dhawan arrived here for the white ball series against Sri Lanka, starting July 13.
The Dhawan-led side will play three ODIs and three T20Is in the island nation.
Notably, regular skipper Virat Kohli and the red ball side is currently touring England.
In their absence, the BCCI had named a 20-member squad for the Sri Lanka tour includes all-rounder Hardik Pandya and the spin duo of Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal from the senior lot.
Young guns like Devdutt Padikkal, Prithvi Shaw, Nitish Rana, Ruturaj Gaikwad, and rookie pacer Chetan Sakariya also feature in the side.
The likes of Sanju Samson, Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav are also in the squad and they would be looking to cement their place in the T20 World Cup squad. (UNI)
