Yuzvendra Chahal recently shared a cryptic post on Instagram, amid divorce news with wife Dhanashree Verma. A recent report by a media house has claimed that the couple has officially parted ways. They completed the legal formalities at the Bandra Family Court, where the final divorce hearing happened on February 20.
Yuzvendra and Dhanashree were reportedly asked to attend a counseling session by the judge on February 20. As per the report, the couple told the judge that they were seeking a divorce with mutual consent. They apparently also stated that they had been living separately for the last 18 months. The couple reportedly cited ‘compatibility issues’ as the main reason for their divorce.
As the news surfaced, the cricketer shared a story on his Instagram handle that reads, “God has protected me more times than I can count. So I can only imagine the times I've been rescued that I don't even know about. Thank you, God for always being there even when I don't know it. Amen”.
Dhanashree, too, shared a cryptic post how God changes worries to blessings. The Instagram story stated, “From stressed to blessed. Isn't it amazing how God can turn our worries and trials to blessings? If you're stressing about something today, know that you have a choice. You can either keep worrying or you can surrender it all to God and choose to pray about everything. There is power in having faith that God can work all things together for your good.”
The rumors of their divorce have been circulating for months, with some reports even suggesting that Chahal might have to pay a massive Rs 60 crore in alimony. However, neither Chahal nor Dhanashree has publicly confirmed or denied the reports.
Their divorce rumors started circulating after they unfollowed each other on Instagram and Chahal deleted their photos together. Dhanashree also dropped "Chahal" from her Instagram name, fueling the rumors further.
