National-level wrestler Nisha Dahiya on Wednesday dismissed reports of her death and said that she is fine.
"I am in Gonda to play senior nationals. I am alright. It's a fake news (reports of her death). I am fine," Dahiya said in a video message released by the Wrestling Federation of India.
Olympic medalist Sakshi Malik too shared on her Twitter that Nisha is alive and safe.
Earlier, news agency UNI had reported that unidentified assailants shot dead the wrestler, her brother Suraj and seriously injured her mother at the Sushil Kumar Wrestling Academy in Halalpur area. However, she is a local wrestler from Kharkhoda with the same name.
