A heartbreaking incident has come to light from Sehore district in Madhya Pradesh that has left every parent in shock. In Jahangirpur village, a one-and-a-half-year-old boy died after jelly got stuck in his throat.

The victim has been identified as Ayush Lodhi, son of Karan Singh Lodhi.

Ayush was the beloved child of Lodhi family. His family gave him jelly to cheer him up. But this sweet treat turned into a tragedy. As soon as he ate the jelly, he started crying and began struggling to breathe. The family quickly rushed him to the district hospital in Sehore, but sadly, it was too late. Doctors declared him dead on arrival.

Doctors later found that the jelly had blocked his throat, leading to suffocation.

Avoid Giving These Foods to Children Under 3

Civil Surgeon Dr. Praveer Gupta has advised that children under the age of three do not have fully developed swallowing abilities. Giving them round, sticky, hard, or slippery objects can be hazardous. These things can get stuck in the throat and cause suffocation.
