Angry students beat up a teacher in Bihar’s Buxar as they didn’t get sweets on the occasion of Independence Day.

According to reports, following the flag-hoisting ceremony on at Murar High School on Thursday, some children standing outside the main gate asked teachers for sweets, but the teachers refused, claiming that they were not students of this school. Then a scuffle broke out between those students and teachers.

The Murar police arrived on the scene as soon as they received the information and calmed the irate students. After this, the teachers made their way back to their homes.

But the angry students were waiting for the teachers on the Koran Sarai-Bagen main road and as soon as they saw a teacher, they vented their anger on him and beat him up.

Following this, the principal and teachers went to the Murar police station to file a complaint.

However, a flag-hoisting ceremony was going on at the police station, so they informed the matter to the police. Police asked them to come again on Saturday.
