Mumbai: Last time when Rakhi Sawant contested an election only her colony friends voted for her, as per her statements given to an FM channel in Mumbai. This time she has gathered courage to topple a big wig of Uttar Pradesh Politics and BSP Supremo Mayawati in the upcoming Uttar Pradesh elections. It is not a baseless rumor, Republican party of India has decided to place Rakhi Sawant opposite to Mayawati in UP polls.
RPI chief Raamdas Athavale confirmed the news in a press conference and said that Rakhi Sawant will contest election against Mayawati from their party. Athavale added that more Bollywood actors will campaign for her and party in the UP elections. (WD)
