VIDEO: Frustrated thief leaves Rs 20 for owner after finding no cash in Telangana hotel

A recent robbery attempt at a Telangana hotel took a comical turn after a thief, disappointed at finding nothing to steal, left behind Rs 20 on the counter for the owner.

The incident was captured by the CCTV cameras in the hotel.

The footage shows a thief, masked and carrying a stick, breaking into the hotel around midnight. Despite a thorough search of the premises, including the kitchen, he does not find anything of value. Frustrated, he addresses the CCTV camera directly, saying : “Not a single rupee, hats off to you!”

To show his “appreciation” or perhaps his sarcasm, the thief goes on to take a water bottle from the fridge and leave a Rs 20 note on the table before leaving.

The incident took place in Maheshwaram area of Rangareddy district of Telangana.
