A viral video shows police jeep barging into an Emergency ward on the fourth floor of the AIIMS Rishikesh. The video also captures security officials moving stretchers to make way for the vehicle.

The unusual bid by the Uttarakhand police was to arrest a nursing officer who was accused of sexually harassing a woman doctor at AIIMS.

According to the police, the nursing officer Satish Kumar allegedly sexually harassed a woman doctor inside an operation theatre. Kumar had also allegedly sent an obscene SMS to the lady doctor. The incident sparked outrage among AIIMS hospital doctors who went on strike and staged protests.
