Mumbai: Shiv Sena leader and MP Sanjay Raut on Saturday accused NCP's Ajit Pawar for cheating people of Maharahstra and the party chief Sharad Pawar by supporting Bharatiya janta Party in forming the government in the state.
Mr Raut told reporters here that till yesterday, NCP's Ajit Pawar was involved in the meeting, but he was avoiding eye to eye contact. "Due to which there was doubt about their functioning. He said that whatever political incident has happened today, Mr. Sharad Pawar has nothing to do with it. Ajit Pawar has cheated his uncle Mr. Sharad Pawar and the people of Maharashtra." Raut said.

He said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has taken unfair advantage of the Raj Bhavan. Raut said he feels Ajit feared imprisonment that is why he supported the BJP dispensation. "Telephone conversation between Mr Uddhav Thackeray and Mr Sharad Pawar has been held twice this morning. I can assure you that Mr Sharad Pawar has no hand in supporting the BJP", Raut told reporters.

He said that MLAs who have gone with Shri Ajit Pawar have insulted the people of Maharashtra and people will surely teach them a lesson for this.

"Both Sharad Pawar and Uddhav Thackeray will jointly conduct press conference over this issue" he said.(UNI)
