Mumbai: Following the makers of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Padmavati' postponing the release of their film from its original date of December 1, the makers of 'Fukrey Returns' have preponed its release to December 8.

Trade sources said that 'Fukrey Returns' will now release on its original release date of December 8 instead of December 15.The makers had earlier pushed the release of the film from December 8 to December 15, a decision the trade experts had attributed to release of the big budget 'Padmavati' on December 1.

However, makers of 'Padmavati' on Sunday announced that they were deferring the release of their film from its release date of December 1.Produced by Excel entertainment of Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, 'Fukrey returns' is the sequel to 'Fukrey', which features Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma and Richa Chaddha in key roles.
