Mumbai: Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt on Friday expressed shock over the incident of a body was found hanging in Nahargarh Fort following the controversy over 'Padmavati'.Taking to social media, Alia, slamming the violent protests against the film, said, 'This is what happens when violent threats are allowed to made openly without punishment! What is happening? Shocked!'
The reaction by the actress came after a body was found hanging at the Nahargarh Fort. The body was found with a threat note which said, 'we don’t burn effigies, we kill".The discovery of the body is being linked to the protests against Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Padmavati' with some organisations issuing death threats to the film's lead actress Deepika Padukone and Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali.(UNI)
