The death toll in the November 10 suicide blast outside Delhi’s Red Fort has risen to 15. Meanwhile, the National Investigation Agency (NIA), which is probing the case, has made a major revelation - the terror module was planning Hamas-style drone and rocket attacks across the country. The network had spread its roots across six states, including Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh.

JeM Module Was Preparing Small Rockets for Serial Blasts

According to NIA findings, the Jaish-e-Mohammed terror module was preparing to manufacture small rockets that were intended for coordinated serial blasts. Inspired by Hamas, the terrorists had devised a plan to drop bombs via drones on crowded public spaces to cause mass casualties.

Another JeM Terrorist Arrested From Srinagar

NIA has arrested another JeM operative, Jasir Bilal Wani alias Danish, from Srinagar. He is believed to be a close associate of Dr. Umar Nabi—the alleged mastermind behind the Delhi suicide attack. Investigators say Umar had spent months radicalising Jasir and persuading him to become a suicide bomber.

Wani allegedly provided technical support for the planned attacks, modifying drones and attempting to develop small rockets. Earlier, the police had also arrested Aamir Rashid Ali, the owner of the i20 car used in the blast.

NIA Foils Larger Terror Plot

Officials say the recent arrests have significantly disrupted the terror module’s plans. The NIA is expected to make more arrests in the coming days as the investigation expands.
