Eight people were killed and six others severely injured in a high-intensity explosion that tore through a car parked near the Red Fort metro station on Monday evening.The blast set multiple vehicles ablaze and shattered nearby windowpanes, while several others are feared injured, an official said.Police have sounded high alert across Delhi following the incident.

The Police has identified Umar Mohammad a resident of Pulwama Kashmir & a medico by Profession. A cache of explosive worth 300 KG was also recovered from his residence. However a driver named Mohammad Salman strolled the car in Delhi from dawn to dusk & subsequently executed the blast in the peak traffic hours.

Car's location revealed: Police teams are gathering information about the occupants of the car and others associated with them. Meanwhile, the location of the car that exploded has also been revealed, including the locations it traveled through. The car that exploded is a Hyundai i20. Information regarding the car's entry and location on November 10th has now been revealed. The car's movement on the day of the explosion was as follows.

Police have taken Salman into custody. During interrogation, Mohammad Salman revealed that he had sold his car to Devendra, a resident of Okhla, Delhi, a year and a half ago. Investigation revealed that Devendra had sold the car to someone in Ambala, Haryana. Further investigation revealed the car's Pulwama connection. It was discovered that the car had been bought and sold several times. In this series, the car was sold to Tariq from Pulwama.

According to top intelligence sources, the car with Haryana registration number belonged to Umar Mohammad, who was associated with the Faridabad-Saharanpur Jaish-e-Mohammed module. Following yesterday's raid, these individuals were planning to detonate the blast elsewhere, but the blast was accidentally triggered near the Red Fort. Investigative agencies are now investigating this entire incident.

8:20 am: The car was spotted at a petrol pump near the Okhla Industrial Area.
3:19 pm: The car entered the parking area near the Red Fort.
6:00 pm: The car left the Red Fort parking area.

The car was also seen around Daryaganj, Kashmiri Gate, and the Sunehri Masjid.
