Vijayapura: In a remarkable achievement, 18-year-old Samaira Hullur from Vijayapura has become India’s youngest commercial pilot, breaking barriers in the aviation industry.

She earned her Commercial Pilot License (CPL) after completing rigorous training at the Vinod Yadav Aviation Academy and Carver Aviation Academy, which cemented her place in aviation history.

Samaira’s aviation journey began with a six-month foundational programme at the Vinod Yadav Aviation Academy, followed by advanced flight training at Baramati in Maharashtra. Under the mentorship of renowned figures like Captain Tapesh Kumar, she successfully completed all theoretical and flight training exams on her first attempt.

Samaira expressed her gratitude to her mentors for their invaluable guidance. "The training was tough, but with continuous support, I was able to overcome every challenge. I owe this achievement to Captain Tapesh Kumar and Vinod Yadav," she said.

Her success story serves as an inspiration for the youth, especially young women aspiring to enter traditionally male-dominated fields. Her determination proves that with the right training, support, and perseverance, no dream is too big to achieve.

Samaira’s groundbreaking achievement has generated pride not only in her hometown of Vijayapura but also across Karnataka, making her a symbol of youthful ambition and success.
