New Delhi:The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has sent a notice to Congress president Rahul Gandhi over his citizenship issue following a complaint by BJP MP Subramanian Swamy.
The MHA's notice, sent by Foreigners Division of Home Ministry on Monday, has requested Mr Gandhi to "intimate factual position on the matter" within 15 days.
A 14-page notice has been served to the Gandhi scion on a complaint by Dr Swamy claiming that Mr Gandhi had, in a British Company's Annual Returns filed on October 10,2005 and October 31,2006, declared his nationality as British.(UNI)
