New Delhi: Seeking to give some vital political signals, Priyanka Gandhi and Robert Vadra on Saturday apparently kept a distance from senior Congress leaders at the venue of Rahul Gandhi's "coronation".Priyanka Gandhi, who has often campaigned for her brother and mother Sonia Gandhi, accompanied by her husband Robert Vadra were seated in a separate enclosure wherein other Uttar Pradesh Congress leaders were seated.
Sporting her dimple-deep cheek smile, Ms Priyanka was seen interacting with number of leaders from Uttar Pradesh.In the past there have been speculation about the role Priyanka Gandhi would play in the Congress party.However, she has kept herself at a safe distance from active politics even as from time to time her husband Robert Vadra has been subjected to criticism and attack in various corruption charges.(UNI)
