New Delhi: In a massive twist to the death of noted actress Sridevi, BJP leader Dr Subramanian Sway has questioned the reported version of Dubai Police that the filmstar died of "accidental drowning" in her hotel bathtub."It is very difficult to die and drown in a bathtub unless somebody pushed you or prevent you from breathing," Dr Swamy told Times Now.Dr Swamy said he knew Sridevi as a concerned person about her health and that she "never touched hard drinks".
"Let's wait for the prosecution to pronounce it. Facts in media do not appear to be consistent," he said questioned the rationale behind earlier claims about heart failure leading to Sridevi's death and now the version of "accidental drowning".Dr Swamy also referred to the Bollywood's "illicit relation" with Dubai gangs suggesting such a scenario only raises questions about the manner the famous actress had to breath her last.Senior politician Amar Singh also said no one from the family of Sridevi's husband Boney Kapoor have said that filmstar died of cardiac arrest.(UNI)
