Irritated over parrot’s constant whistling, neighbour files case against owner in Pune

Pune: In a bizarre incident, a neighbour annoyed over frequent whistles of a pet parrot registered a case against its owner with the Khadki police station here on Sunday.

Akbar Amjad Khan, resident of Patil Estate area of the city, had kept a parrot as pet and since this parrot was whistling at neighbour Suresh Shinde, he was very annoyed with the bird, police said.

He had even asked Khan to put the bird somewhere else in his house and also abused him over this.

Finally, fed up of the parrot's whistles, Shinde registered a case under various sections of relevant Acts against the pet owner with the Khadki police station, sources added. (UNI)
