Ambulance driver who allegedly tried to sexually assault a COVID patient arrested

Kalaburagi: An ambulance driver was arrested on charges of allegedly trying to sexually assault a 25-year-old patient admitted at a COVID care centre set up in Gulbarga Institute of Medical Science (GIMS) college hospital here on Wednesday.

In a complaint filed with the Police, the woman alleged that the Ambulance driver tried to sexually assault her twice during Tuesday night but failed as she raised the alarm. The accused was identified as Pintu (27) a private Ambulance driver.

Brahmapur Police have registered a case and are investigating. (UNI)
