Fans have been eagerly waiting for the new wedding date of Indian women’s cricket star Smriti Mandhana and music composer Palash Muchhal. Their wedding, originally scheduled for 23 November 2025, was postponed after Smriti’s father suffered a heart attack. Soon after, Palash also fell ill and had to be hospitalized.
Although both families have confirmed that Smriti’s father and Palash are now recovering well, no official announcement has been made regarding a new wedding date. Amid this uncertainty, social media was flooded with rumours claiming that the couple would marry on December 7.
However, Smriti Mandhana’s brother, Shravan Mandhana, has clarified that these reports are completely false.
Speaking to Hindustan Times, Shravan said that no new date has been finalised yet and he has no idea where the December 7 rumours originated. He confirmed that the wedding remains postponed for now.
Meanwhile, Palash’s mother expressed hope that Smriti and Palash will get married soon, adding that the events of their original wedding day had deeply upset both families.
In the midst of the delay, Palash Muchhal found himself in fresh controversy when screenshots of his alleged flirty chats with a woman named Mary D’costa surfaced on social media. His name was also linked with their wedding choreographer Nandika Dwivedi adding fuel to the ongoing discussions around the postponed wedding.
