An 18-year-old Surat-based social media vlogger died in a horrific road accident after his KTM Duke bike hit a divider at extremely high speed, according to media reports.
The victim, identified as Prince Patel known online as “PKR Blogger”, was riding down a flyover near Breadliner Circle in the Khatodara police station area on Monday morning when he allegedly lost control.
CCTV footage shows the motorcycle speeding at approximately 140 kmph while descending the Great Liner Bridge. Patel was flung off the bike and tumbled across the road, while the motorcycle continued skidding along the divider for several metres.
The impact was so severe that Patel was decapitated, according to some media reports. Preliminary investigations also reveal he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
Police have registered a fatal accident FIR and launched a detailed probe.
Prince Patel had a significant teenage fanbase for his high-speed bike reels and stylised Instagram videos. In a post uploaded four days before the crash, he referred to himself as “Majnu” still in love with his bike “Laila” even in heaven. His social media content frequently showcased fast riding, including clips showing the bike touching 140 kmph.
Authorities are continuing their investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident.
