New Delhi: Results of Gujarat polls will be surprising and one-sided, Congress president-elect Rahul Gandhi said on Thursday.Talking to a news channel on Wednesday, Gandhi said people in Gujarat were angry with the BJP and there was a perceptible change in their thoughts and it will reflect in the poll result.“Gujarat is known for innovations," he later said in a tweet.

The elections will be one-sided because the BJP and Prime Minister failed to offer any 'vision' to Gujarat people, Gandhi said.He said Congress has given a public-vision to the Gujarat people, which was prepared after consulting all the stakeholders in the state.Reacting over the statement of Prime Minister Modi for making a ‘Congress-mukta’ India, Rahul said Congress was more an ideology and spirit which believes in harmonious co-existence of people. Nobody can free country from this spirit.

As a party President, he would work to spread this message, Rahul said.He also expressed his views on different issues in his tweets today. On his visits to temples across the poll bound state, he said he did not need BJP’s permission to visit temples."Is there a ban on visiting temples? Earlier, I had gone to Kedarnath. Is Kedarnath in Gujarat? This is BJP's propaganda against me."He said he was impressed with Gujarat’s spirit and asserted that the poll this time was about the youth and their aspirations. (UNI)
